Brand Identity

The Problem
Octane Performance Training needed an identity that could live comfortably in two worlds: the raw, physical energy of the gym and the polished expectations of a professional training brand.

The Challenge
Balancing grit and performance with professionalism, ensuring the identity worked equally well on hoodies, signage, and client-facing materials.

The Solution
A dynamic system blending anatomical forms with a sense of speed, allowing the brand to feel at home in the gym while presenting a sharp, confident edge beyond it.

Brand Identity

The Problem: In a crowded craft beer market, new entrants often struggle to establish a distinct “sense of place.” The brand needed a visual identity that didn’t just sell beer, but sold the experience of its origin, San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato (without relying on generic Mexican travel tropes)

The Challenge: To capture the specific atmospheric magic of San Miguel, with its colonial architecture, vibrant flora, and rustic warmth, and translate that into a cohesive brand system. The identity needed to be versatile enough to look authentic on rough-hewn wood signage and stamped napkins while remaining sharp and professional on corporate stationery and a modern, responsive e-commerce website.

The Solution: I developed a comprehensive identity system anchored by the city’s most iconic landmark, the Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel, rendered in a style that evokes traditional woodcuts.

Visual Language: A color palette driven by the region’s famous bougainvillea pinks and warm earth tones connects the product to the physical environment.

Packaging & Environment: The logo was designed with a “bottle cap” badge versatility, allowing it to sit naturally on rustic exterior signage and tactile bar materials.

Brand Identity

The Problem: Threesixty Productions needed a logo that communicated film and storytelling without relying on overused camera or reel clichés. As a small Austin-based production company, the identity needed to feel professional and established while remaining flexible enough to work across digital, print, and motion applications—often in limited color or black-and-white contexts.

The Challenge: Create a logo that felt cinematic, locally rooted, and flexible across color and monochrome.

The Solution: The final mark is built around a stylized film strip formed into a sweeping arch, subtly mimicking the iconic Austin 360 Bridge. This gesture reinforces the idea of a complete, 360-degree creative process while grounding the brand in its local identity. Designed as a simple, scalable system, the logo performs consistently in both color and monochrome, allowing it to adapt seamlessly across title cards, production credits, marketing materials, and digital platforms. The result is a cinematic, versatile identity rooted in both place and craft.

Brand Identity

The Problem: The Texas Briefing Room needed a logo that felt credible and confident, without looking overly corporate or politically charged. As a podcast focused on Texas news and conversation, the brand had to immediately feel trustworthy while still fitting naturally into modern media spaces.

The Challenge: The challenge was creating a mark that clearly communicated Texas, reporting, and conversation while staying flexible across everything from studio signage and jackets to mobile screens and social graphics. The logo needed to feel at home on camera, in print, and online—without becoming too busy or dated.

The Solution:The final logo combines the classic broadcast microphone with the Texas flag, supported by a bold wordmark and a subtle lightning bolt for energy. Red, white, blue, and gray colors keeps the system Texas, and easy the design is easy to extend across print, apparel, and digital media.
