Visual Design System

Within a three-person design team at Rush Enterprises, I’ve helped lead creative execution across a nationwide brand footprint for more than a decade. That longevity has allowed me to guide the brand through meaningful transformation — from legacy visual systems to a modern, scalable digital experience supporting 140+ locations.

Over the last decade, I’ve directed field shoots, partnered with large production and print vendors, managed external editors, and produced and edited video in-house. That long-term involvement has given me a deep understanding of both the business and the brand, allowing me to make decisions that balance innovation with consistency at enterprise scale.

The Problem
As Rush Enterprises expanded nationwide, its legacy visual presence no longer reflected the scale, capability, or modern customer experience of the business. With more than 140 locations across the country, inconsistent execution across signage, marketing, digital, and location-level materials created brand fragmentation and made it difficult to present a unified national identity.

The Solution
To redesigned the visual system from the ground up, creating a modern, scalable design language that could flex across physical locations, digital platforms, and national campaigns. Since launch, I’ve helped maintain and evolve the system by supporting new initiatives, locations, and services while ensuring the brand stays consistent and recognizable across the entire network.

Web & App UI:

In supporting the ongoing evolution of RushTruckCenters.com, and RushEnterprises.com I’ve contributed to a scalable UI framework built in Figma using structured components and variants. By designing with systems in mind, I help create a flexible foundation that enables faster iteration, consistent user experiences, and streamlined rollout of new digital initiatives across the organization.

Collaborative + Systems-Aware

These screens show how I design within an established system, leveraging Figma variables, components, and responsive patterns to extend the UI across desktop and mobile.
The work focuses on consistency, usability, and thoughtful evolution rather than one-off screens.

A quick look at how the Rush visual system carries into social video. From type hierarchy to color and pacing, the same design principles used across web and marketing are applied consistently in motion.

Marketing/Brand Design:

I lead the creative development of multi-piece, multi-channel campaigns across the nationwide Rush Truck Centers and Rush Enterprises network.

From initial concept through execution, each campaign is built to scale across digital, web, social, print, video, and in-store environments. Whether promoting store openings, seasonal service specials, inventory pushes, or national initiatives, I design flexible visual systems that maintain brand consistency while adapting to the needs of 140+ locations. The result is cohesive storytelling that drives awareness, supports sales, and strengthens our presence across every touchpoint.

For National Truck Driver Appreciation Week, I concepted and execute a multi channel campaign celebrating drivers across our network. The initiative extended across web, social, email, print, in store signage, and video, creating a cohesive visual system that honored drivers while reinforcing Rush Truck Centers’ commitment to the people who keep the industry moving.

Social Media & Video

I developed social and video campaign assets designed to perform across multiple platforms and placements. From short form motion graphics to platform specific social sizes, the work was built to scale while maintaining visual consistency of the campaign and brand clarity across every format.

Internal Brand Leadership:

In addition to external marketing campaigns, I lead internal-facing creative initiatives for Rush Enterprises, supporting executive leadership and corporate communications. My work ranges from high-level PowerPoint presentations for board meetings and leadership summits to environmental branding within our corporate offices. Whether shaping executive storytelling or translating company values into physical spaces, I design cohesive visual systems that reinforce culture, clarity, and brand consistency from the inside out.
